This project will complete the trenching and restoration work required to complete the undergrounding of Puget Sound Energy power and other telecommunications systems in the alley located south of Main Street and between A Street SW and A Street SE. This project is scheduled to receive bids the week of September 12'" and due to the coordination of the work with recent downtown development, there is a desire to have this work begin as soon as possible. The contract is estimated at $40,000.00 and $20,000 is budgeted from the 001 General fund and $20,000 from Developer contribution. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES as follows: Section 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to award contract: 05-12 to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directives of this legislation. Section 3.
