City Council grant permission to advertise for bids for Project No. C505A, 2005 Annual Arterial Pavement
Preservation, Auburn -Black Diamond Road
Background Summary:
The purpose of this project is to complete paved preservation of 2,400 feet of Auburn -Black Diamond Rd.,
from just east of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad crossing to the city limits. The failing road
segment will have the existing overlay planed off, concrete panels doweled together, and a structural
overlay installed on the existing subgrade and within its current alignment and road width.
The anticipated construction start date is November 2005 with completion by February 2006.
