City Council award Small Works Contract 02-11, Project Number C205A, Kersey Way / Oravetz Road
Traffic Signal Project, to MT Electric on their low bid of $179,064.00.
Background Summary:
This project will consist of installing a new span-wire signal and 3 new luminaries to improve the safety at
the intersection of Kersey Way and Oravetz Road. This project is estimated to begin construction the
beginning of October 2005 and end the beginning of November 2005.
The elevated bids are primarily due to recent cost increases for manufacturing and transporting of
materials. A budget adjustment of $28,854 from the 102 fund will be required this year to fund the
project.
