New Section to City Code. That a new section 13.08.065 of the Auburn City Code, be, and the same is hereby created to read as follows: 13.08.065 Fire hydrants — installation on existing mains or relocation A fire hydrant may be installed on an existing main, or be relocated, as approved by the City. Hydrants shall be installed or relocated in accordance with the City of Auburn design and construction standards. A written permit is required to install or relocate a hydrant. A permit application and inspection fee shall be charged in accordance with the City of Auburn fee schedule. Section 2. Fee added to City of Auburn Fee Schedule. That the City of Auburn fee schedule shall be amended to include a fire hydrant fee pursuant to ACC 13.08.065 in the amount of $229.00. Ordinance No. 5944 September 2, 2005 Page 1 of 2 Section 3. Implementation. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directions of this ordinance. Section 4. Severability. If any portion of this Ordinance or its application to any person or circumstances is held invalid, the remainder of the Ordinance or the application of the provision to other persons or circumstances shall not be affected. Section 5. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
