LLC and accept construction of Project No. C305A, City Hall Courtyard Repair. Background Summary: The City Hall plaza project has been completed pursuant to the approved plans and the final pay estimate in the amount of $42,014.56 can now be paid. The City will also be keeping the retainage in the amount of $3,281.16. The project replaced the concrete and brick pavers at the front and back entrances of City Hall. The project extended from either door to the top of the first set of stairs and essentially replaced (in-kind) the existing materials and retained the existing design. The project also provided for a better storm drainage system that now prevents the leaking of rain into the basement, it also corrected the settling of the plaza away from the building and therefore eliminated any tripping hazards. The project also replaced all of the bricks with thicker ones again eliminating any tripping hazards that had existed with the broken bricks.
