City Council award Small Works Contract 05-16, Project Number C508A, Citywide Manhole Ring and
Cover Replacement, to Cannon Construction on their low bid of $69,710 plus WA state sales tax of
$6,134.48 for a total contract price of $75,844.48.
Background Summary:
This project allows for the select replacement of 34 damaged sewer manhole rings and covers as
identified by the Sewer Maintenance Department. The identified manholes are within the traveled way
and are excessively worn and/or damaged.
A project budget contingency of $4,100 remains in the allocated portion of the repair and replacement
budget in the 431 Sanitary Sewer fund.
