Construction on their low bid of $334,137 plus WA state sales tax of $29,404.06 for a total contract price
of $363,541.06
Background Summary:
The purpose of this project is to construct a new storm drainage water quality/retention infiltration facility
to serve existing and new tributary drainage areas within subbasins A and Z as defined in the 2002
Comprehensive Storm Drainage Plan. The project will be constructed on an existing City of Auburn
Storm Utility parcel currently serving as the non -engineered storm drainage disposal site for existing
conditions. The parcel is 1.23 acres in size, and is located proximate to the southeast corner of the
intersection of 37th Street SE and M Street SE.
A project budget contingency of $13,228 remains in the 432 Storm Utility fund.
