Administrative Recommendation:
City Council grant permission to enter into Consultant Agreement No. AG -C-283 with Parametrix, Inc. for
On -Call Survey Services for the remainder of 2006.
Background Summary:
Currently, the City maintains an On -Call Agreement with AHBL, Inc. to provide survey services,
supplementing the current City staff resources. Due to the increase in project workload in 2006, an
additional On -Call Agreement with Parametrix, Inc. is necessary to supplement City staff and AHBL
resources. Having these resources available provides the City with additional flexibility to complete
projects in an efficient and timely manner as they are needed through out the year.
The Agreement has a "Not to Exceed" amount of $50,000 for the year and uses the City's standard
consultant agreement form. Expenditures under the Agreement are authorized by the City through a
series of Task Orders. Each Task Order provides a specific Scope of Work, Schedule, and Budget for the
consultant. In addition, the budget for each Task Order must be available in the City's budget either
through professional services or project budgets.
