City Council grant permission to advertise for bids for Project No. C327B, Green River Road Utility
Improvements.
Background Summary:
The purpose of this project is to extend water utilities along the frontage of the Auburn Golf Course to
serve the proposed Auburn Golf Course Clubhouse. The project scope includes the extension of
approximately 2,500 lineal feet of 12" water main along Green River Road from the existing 16" water
main to the Auburn Golf Course Clubhouse and approximately 350 lineal feet of 8" water main from
Green River Road to the proposed Auburn Golf Course Clubhouse site, in addition to associated fire
hydrants. The project scope also includes approximately 60 lineal feet of 3" conduit and associated utility
vaults for the future installation of fiber optics across Green River Road.
Design is anticipated to be complete by June 2006, with construction anticipated to occur between August
2006 and December 2006.
The total project cost is estimated to be $350,000. There is $700,000 available from REET to fund all of
the Golf Course Clubhouse utility improvements, of which, this project completes a portion of the work.
