RESOLUTION NO. 4061
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AUBURN, WASHINGTON, REGARDING A PETITION FOR
VACATION OF A PORTION OF D STREET SE LYING
BETWEEN 23RD STREET SE AND 25TH STREET SE AND
BETWEEN PARCELS 1921059104 AND 1921059103
WITHIN THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON
WHEREAS, the City of Auburn, Washington has received a petition signed by
owners of at least two-thirds (2/3) of the property abutting the portion of 0 Street SE,
located between 23rd Street SE and 25th St SE and between parcels 1921059104 and
1921059103, located within the City of Auburn, Washington, requesting that the same be
vacated; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 35.79.010 of the Revised Code of Washington, a
hearing on such vacation was held on July 3rd, 2006; and
WHEREAS, the City has determined that the continued use of the right of way is
important to the citizens of Auburn for transportation and utility needs.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES as follows:
Section 1. That the request for a vacation of a portion of 0 Street SE, located
within the City of Auburn, Washington, legally described as follows:
THE WEST 25 FEET OF THE SOUTH HALF OF THE
SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER
OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 19,
TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 5 EAST OF THE
WILLAMETTE MERIDIAN. LOCATED IN THE CITY OF
AUBURN, KING COUNTY, WASHINGTON

and as shown on the document attached hereto, marked as Exhibit "A" and incorporated
herein by this reference, be denied.
Section 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such administrative
procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directives of this legislation.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall take effect and be in full force upon
passage and signatures hereon.
