City Council grant permission to advertise for bids for Project No. CP0617, Mountain View Cemetery
Mausoleum Building.
Background Summary:
The purpose of this project is to construct a Mausoleum Building at Auburn's Mountain View Cemetery.
The adopted Cemetery Master Plan, produced by JGM recommended the development of a Mausoleum
Building featuring both interior and exterior niches. Construction of this project will satisfy demand for
Niche space at the Cemetery for 15-20 years. All work is within the Cemetery property. Design is 99%
complete and construction is anticipated to occur between October 2006 and February 2007.
The total project construction cost is estimated to be $335,000. Funding will be through bond proceeds.
