Building, to Mayer Construction on their low bid of $260,400.00 (including awarded Alternates #1 and #2)
Pius Washington State sales tax of $22,915.20 for a total contract price of $283,315.20.
Background Summary:
The purpose of this project is to construct a mausoleum (columbarium) building at Auburn's Mountain
View cemetery. The adopted Cemetery master Plan, produced by JGM, recommended the development
of a mausoleum building featuring both interior and exterior niches. Construction of this project will satisfy
demand for niche space at the cemetery for 15-20 years. All work is within the cemetery property.
Construction is due to begin in October and be completed in February 2007.
