Background Summary: On January 17, 2006 the City Council approved Ordinance No. 5979 annexing municipal owned property located on the east side of "A" Street Southeast and north of South 359th Street ( 32"d Street SE). The legal description for Ordinance No. 5979 inadvertently included certain road right-of-way description on South 358th Street (31st Street SE). The City Attorney advises that Ordinance 5979 be amended to correct this scrivener's error. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. AMENDED LEGAL DESCRIPTION: The legal description of Ordinance No. 5979 adopted by the City Council of the City of Auburn on January 17, 2006 is hereby amended as follows: LOTS 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, AND 9 OF BLOCK 6 OF SOUTH AUBURN GARDEN TRACTS AS RECORDED IN THE RECORDS OF KING COUNTY, WASHINGTON IN VOLUME 20 OF PLATS AT PAGE 76 TOGETHER W!+H THE SOUTH 358TH STREET RIGHT OF WAY THAT ABUTS SAID LOTS 1 AND 10; TOGETHER WITH THE SOUTH 359TH STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY THAT ABUTS SAID LOT 6. Section 2. REMAINING ORDINANCE PROVISIONS UNAFFECTED: The remaining provisions of Ordinance No. 5979 remain valid and unaffected by the above amendment. The invalidity of any clause, sentence, paragraph, subdivision, section or portion of this ordinance, or the invalidity of the application thereof to any person or circumstance shall not affect the validity of the remainder of this ordinance, or the validity of its application to other persons or circumstances. Section 4. IMPLEMENTATION: The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directives of this legislation. Section 5.
