City Council approve the 2007 Annual On -Call Consultant Agreement No. AG -C-225 with Architects
BCRA.
Background Summary:
The consulting firm of Architects BCRA is used by the City to write scopes of work and technical
specifications for projects that are architectural in nature. In 2006, they were used on the following
projects: jail remodel, remodel of council chambers and 2nd floor conference rooms, renovation of the
men's and women's restrooms and a study of the roof at the Parks and Recreation Administration
Building.
The agreement will be written with a total "Not to Exceed" amount of $75,000 for 2007 using the City's
standard consultant agreement form. Expenditure under the agreement is authorized by the City through
a series of Task Orders. Each Task Order provides a specific Scope of Work, Schedule, and Budget for
the consultant. In addition, the budget for each Task Order must be available in the City's budget either
through professional services or project budgets.
