AGENDA BILL APPROVAL FORM
Agenda Subject: Auburn City Code 12.52 and 15.52 concerning the
Date: January 22, 2007
naming of streets and the assignment of specific building addresses for
Wesley Homes.
Department: Building
Attachments: Resolution No. 4146
Budget Impact: None
Administrative Recommendation:
City Council adopt Resolution No. 4146.
Background Summary:
The CEO of Wesley Homes, Inc. has requested a modification to several of the addresses originally
assigned to the Wesley Homes neighborhood at Lea Hill. The reason for the request is that duplicitous
unit numbers on several duplex units might cause confusion for residents and visitors.
The in consultation with the Fire Marshal, the Building Official has agreed with the property owner in that
assignment of individual street addresses to each unit of each duplex building would resolve the potential
for confusion. Assignment of individual street addresses would also not create a public safety concern.

Attention: Jim Tinner
Subject: Addresses for Wesley Homes Lea Hill Village Homes
In reference to the subject project, we are concerned about the potential confusion for
residents, staff and emergency personnel with the established numbering of the single homes and
duplexes with so many units identified as either 101 or 102. This creates a hardship for our
residents who have identified their unit as Village Home #I — 22 over the past two years and for
our communication systems that have been set up in the same manner.
We would like to propose the following alternative (bold type indicates occupancy):
