Public Works Ordinance No. 6082 $0
Administrative Recommendation:
City Council introduce and adopt Ordinance No. 6082.
Background Summary:
Ordinance No. 6082 amends ACC section 10.36.270 and repeals sections 10.36.280 through 10.36.347.
By repealing ACC sections 10.36.280 through 10.36.347, the code will no longer list specific locations
where parking is prohibited. Rather, the code will identify circumstances in which parking is prohibited, as
well as give the City the authority to restrict or prohibit parking with signage. These changes provide
additional flexibility and enable the City to respond more quickly to requests for parking restrictions.
