City Council grant permission to advertise and solicit bids for Project No. CP0608, Game Farm Park
Soccer Field Renovation.
Background Summary:
The purpose of Project CP0608 is to renovate two new synthetic soccer fields at Game Farm Park. The
existing soccer fields will be demolished and replaced with two new synthetic soccer fields on the existing
Game Farm Park soccer fields site. All work is within the existing Game Farm Park property. Design is
99% complete and construction is anticipated to occur between May and September, 2007.
The total project construction cost is estimated to be $1,300,000. Funding will be through grants and city
funding in the following amounts:
Municipal Park Construction Funds: $ 500,000
State of Washington IAC Grant: $ 300,000
King County Youth Services Grant: $ 75,000
Local Grant AYSA/Rep. Hurst $ 125,000
REET Funds: $ 300,000
Total $1,300,000
