Clark Architects, PLLC for Architectural and Engineering Services for Project No. C327A0, Auburn Golf Course Clubhouse. Background Summary: When initially planned, and the Scope of Services agreed with David A. Clark Architects, the Golf Course Clubhouse building included a restaurant and Pro Shop. However, it was expected that the detailed interior design and engineering of the restaurant and associated kitchen would be accomplished by the restaurant concessionaire, and tenant improvement construction/installation also accomplished by them. Final negotiation of the concessionaire agreement resulted in the City having responsibility for provision of this design effort. This amendment provides for those increased services from Clark Architects, along with associated costs. The cost of this increased effort for the A & E team is $59,245. The budget for the project included provisions for this design, and so is not affected by this amended amount. The total not-to-exceed amount for this amendment is $59,245, increasing the agreement total to $371,245. A project budget contingency of $120,000 remains in the bond fund. AG-C-327-A BETWEEN THE CITY OF AUBURN AND DAVID A. CLARK ARCHITECTS, PLLC RELATING TO PROJECT NO. c327a0, AUBURN GOLF COURSE CLUBHOUSE THIS AMENDMENT is made and entered into this day of 2007, by and between the CITY OF AUBURN, a municipal corporation of the State of Washington (hereinafter referred to as the "CITY"), and David A. Clark Architects, PLLC (hereinafter referred to as the "CONSULTANT"), as an Amendment to the Agreement between the parties for AG-C-327-A executed on the 19th day of December 2005. The changes to the agreement are described as follows: 1. CONTRACT TERM: The term, of the Agreement for Professional Services remains unchanged. 2. SCOPE OF WORK: The scope of work is amended to include the following tasks: A. Architectural and Engineering services, as described in the original agreement, to accommodate the restaurant and kitchen design; specifically including the including the mechanical, electrical, structural, architectural and interior design of the concessionaire`s tenant improvements of the kitchen and restaurant as required for permitting, bidding and construction. All aspects of the design will be directed by the concessionaire, as approved by the City and shall be in general conformance with the design created by Bargreen Ellingson dated 8/14/06. The spaces are to be fully part of the clubhouse structure, with full provision of building systems, and code compliant exiting. 3. COMPENSATION: The amount of this amendment is $ 59,245. The total contract amount is increased to a total of $ 371,245. REMAINING TERMS UNCHANGED: That all other provisions of the Agreement between the parties for AG-C-327-A executed on the 19th day of December 2005 and previous amendments, shall remain unchanged, and in full force and effect.
