revised to implement monthly utility billing. The proposed language change went to the Public Works
Committee on April 9, 2007 and the Finance Committee on April 16, 2007. Both committees accepted
proposed language change.

ORDINANCE NO. 6099
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AMENDING SECTION 13.20.390 OF
THE AUBURN CITY CODE RELATING TO THE COLLECTION OF
SEWER CHARGES
WHEREAS, the City would like to implement monthly utility billing; and
WHEREAS, the bill due date and delinquency process need to be
revised in order to allow for monthly billing; and
WHEREAS, the City has reviewed its sewer provisions and rates and it is
therefore appropriate that the provisions of this chapter be amended to meet
the City's needs.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Amendment to City Code. That Section 13.20.390 of the
City of Auburn City Code is amended to read as follows:
13.20.390 Sewage conveyance and disposal service charge -Payment dates -
Payment delinquency.
Payment for sewerage conveyance and disposal service charges shall be due and
payable to the finance department office X9-15 days after the billing date appearing on
the bill, and shall be delinquent as identified in ACC 13.06.300. A late charge as listed
in ACC 13.06.511 will be assessed if the account is delinquent. (Ord. 6034 § 2, 2006;

Section 2. Implementation. The Mayor is hereby authorized to
implement such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out
the directives of this legislation.
Section 3. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and publication as
provided by law.
