City Council grant permission to advertise for bids for Project No. CP0742 Auburn Way Overlay, 4th St NE
to 4th St SE.
Background Summary:
This project will repair and overlay Auburn Way between 4th St NE and 4`h St SE. The project is intended
to provide a roadway surface with roughly a 5-year lifespan. The work will include extensive patching and
grinding of the existing roadway surface, followed by the installation of a pavement fabric and 2 inch
asphalt overlay.
As noted during project initiation, a transfer of $810,000 from the REET fund to the 102 fund will be
required this year to fund the project.
