Administrative Recommendation:
City Council grant permission to advertise for bids for Project No. C507A, C Street SW Trail.
Background Summary:
The purpose of this project is to construct a 1.65 mile, 10 foot wide, Class 1non-motorized trail along the
west side of C Street SW from 15`h Street SW to Ellingson Road SW. All work is to be within existing
right-of-way or permanent roadway easements.
Advertisement for bids is scheduled to occur in August 2007 with construction in October and November
2007.
The total project cost is estimated to be $392,700 . A project budget contingency of $676 remains in the
2007 Arterial Street Fund.
