City Council award Contract 07-15, Project Number CP0740, Citywide Arterial Crack Seal Project, to
Doolittle Construction LLC on their low bid of $55,300.00.
Background Summary:
This project will treat surface cracks in various arterial streets with rubberized asphalt. The crack seat
treatment is intended to prevent damage to the pavement base material and to prevent the cracks from
expanding. The attached maps show the roadway sections that will be treated.
For this project, an Authorized Contingency above the standard 5% is necessary as the amount of treated
pavement may change during construction activities.
A project contingency of $10,700 remains in the 102 fund.
