Subject: Local Improvement District No. 350
The protest and appeals period for Local Improvement District (LID) No. 350 expired on October
5, 2007. A total of one property owner protested the formation of this LID for a calculated
protest percentage of 7.1 %. This is well below the 60% protest percentage required to divest
the City of its authority to form the LID (RCW 35.43.180), and Public Works staff is planning to
move forward with the design of the project and anticipates construction will start in the spring of
2008.
LID No. 350 was formed by City Council with the passage of Ordinance 6111 at the August 6,
2007 City Council meeting. This LID will partially fund the construction of sidewalks along the
west side of M Street SE between 29th Street SE and 37th Street SE.
