COUNCIL COMMITTEE
ON COMMITTEES
December 3, 2007
I. Call to Order
Chair Rich Wagner called the meeting to order at 7:10 PM in Conference
Room 2 located on the second floor of Auburn City Hall, 25 West Main
Street, Auburn, Washington.
Those in attendance included Chair Rich Wagner, Vice Chair Sue Singer
and Member Gene Cerino. Deputy City Clerk Cathy Richardson was also
present.
I1. 2008 City Council Committee Assignments
Committee members discussed assignments to Council Committees for
2008 and reviewed the recommended Committee assignments distributed
by Chair Wagner identified as Suggestions for 2008 Auburn City Council
Committee Structure revised November 23, 2007.
The following Committee assignments are suggested for 2008:
Planning and Community Development
Lynn Norman, Chair
Nancy Backus, Vice Chair
Rich Wagner, Member
Public Works
Rich Wagner, Chair
Gene Cerino, Vice Chair
Virginia Haugen, Member
Finance
Nancy Backus, Chair
Sue Singer, Vice Chair
Bill Peloza, Member

The Public Works Committee meeting days and time will change to
the first and third Monday at 3:30 p.m.
The Municipal Services Committee meeting days and time will
change to the second and fourth Monday at 3:30 p.m.
All other meeting dates and times will remain the same.
In addition, the following change to Councilmember Reports is
recommended:
Councilmember Reports are to include only
information coming from appointed positions and are
to be directed to fellow Councilmembers.
Vice Chair Singer moved and Member Cerino seconded to instruct
the City Clerk to prepare the necessary resolution to designate the
members and meeting times and days of all standing committees of
the City Council for 2008 with the recommended changes in
Councilmember Reports and recommend Sue Singer as Mayor Pro
Tem for consideration by the City Council at the December 17,
2007 meeting.
MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. 3-0.
III. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 7:25 p.m.
