City Council grant permission to enter into Amendment No. 2 to Consultant Agreement No. AG -C-220
with AMEC Earth & Environmental, Inc. for on-call environmental services.
Background Summary:
AMEC Earth & Environmental currently serves as the City's On -Call Consultant for environmental and
wetland services. Due to the capital project and environmental demand by several City departments, the
City has utilized AMEC extensively during 2007 and 2008. To continue to provide the needed on-call
services through the end of 2008, an amendment to the contract is needed.
Expenditures under the contract are authorized by the City through a series of Task Orders. Each Task
Order provides a specific Scope of Work, Schedule, and Budget for the consultant. In addition, the
budget for each Task Order must be available in the City's budget either through professional services or
project budgets.
The anticipated not to exceed amount for this amendment is $20,000, increasing the agreement total to
$70,000.
