City Council adopt Resolution No. 4421.
Background Summary:
The City has no use for three modular type structures inured to the City after ACAP Child and Family
Services' lease agreement with the City expired. The City has included in the Phase 1 Community
Center Project the cost to demolish the structures from the site. Therefore, it would be appropriate to
surplus the property and dispose of it by auction or other sale mechanism, or to dispose of it as deemed
most expedient by the Mayor

RESOLUTION NO. 4 4 2 1
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON DECLARING
CERTAIN ITEMS OF PROPERTY AS SURPLUS AND
AUTHORIZING THEIR DISPOSAL
WHEREAS, the City has no use for three (3) modular type structures
inured to the City after ACAP Child and Family Services Lease Agreement with
the City expired; and
WHEREAS, the City has included in their Phase 1 Community Center
Project the cost to demolish the structures from the site; and
WHEREAS, it would be appropriate to surplus the property and dispose of
it by auction or other sale mechanism, or to dispose of it, in whole or in part,
through gift to another governmental agency or an appropriate charitable non-
profit entity, as deemed most expedient by the Mayor.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON HEREBY RESOLVES as follows:
Section 1. That the property identified below is declared to be surplus,
and the Mayor is authorized to dispose of and convey such property through
appropriate sale or donation to another governmental agency or charitable non-
profit entity.
Three modular building structures inured to the City after being
vacated by ACAP Child and Family services.
Section 2. That the Mayor is authorized to implement such
administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directives of this
legislation.
