MINUTES
I. CALL TO ORDER
Chair Rich Wagner called the meeting to order at 7:20 p.m. in Mayor
Peter B. Lewis' office located on the first floor of Auburn City Hall, 25
West Main Street, Auburn, Washington.
Those in attendance included Chair Rich Wagner, Vice Chair Sue Singer
and Member Gene Cerino. Deputy City Clerk Cathy Richardson was also
present.
II. 2009 CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS
Committee members discussed assignments to Council Committees for
2009 and reviewed the recommended Committee assignments identified
as Suggestions for 2009 Auburn City Council Committee Structure and
Membership (revised November 25, 2008).
Vice Chair Singer noted that references to "Mayor Pro Tem" on pages 5
and 6 should be corrected to read "Deputy Mayor" and also suggested
that Resolution No. 4429 should include a description of the duties of the
Deputy Mayor. Vice Chair Singer volunteered to provide the description
for Deputy Mayor duties.
Vice Chair Singer also suggested revising the last sentence on Page four
by deleting the specific text of Resolution No. 4429, as follows:
The function of the Council Committee on Committees is also to sew+se
-G-propose amendments to the Rules of Procedure of the City Council to
the full City Council, and to address issues relating to the whole City
Council and make recommendations for action by the full City Council
relative to such issues.

Committee Members concurred.
Vice Chair Singer moved and Member Cerino seconded to continue
Resolution No. 4429 to the next meeting to be held at 7:15 p.m. on
December 15, 2008.
MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. 3-0.
III. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 7:28 p.m.
