City Council grant permission to enter into Consultant Agreement No. AG-C-348 with Anchor
Environmental LLC for Engineering Services for Project No. CP0819, Mill Creek Culvert Replacement at
Peasley Canyon Road.
Background Summary:
Staff has determined that the Peasely Canyon culvert is failing. Some of the pipe joints are separated
and water appears to be flowing through the road bed. Staff considers this situation a major risk to road
stability. This project will replace the existing failing culverts with a new culvert structure capable of
passing the existing sediment bed load while meeting fish passage requirements. The scope of work
provides for an alternatives analysis to select the most cost effective and constructible replacement.
Under this agreement, Anchor Environmental LLC will prepare the plans and specifications for the bidding
of Project No. CP-0819, Mill Creek Culvert Replacement at Peasely Canyon Road. The not-to-exceed
amount for this agreement is $220,000.
