NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the special Council meeting scheduled for
October 21, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. for the purpose of resuming its closed record
hearing on the proposed Development Agreement with Parkstone Investments,
Inc. for Renaissance of Auburn has been cancelled.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING AND HEARING
RESUMPTION OF CLOSED RECORD APPEAL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, following a remand order of the King County Superior Court,
the Auburn City Council will resume its closed record hearing on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at
5:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers located at 25 West Main Street, Auburn,
Washington, on the following:
Development Agreement with Parkstone Investments, Inc. for Renaissance at
Auburn
Pursuant to Auburn City Code Chapter 14.21, Parkstone Investments proposes to enter
into a Development Agreement with the City of Auburn to allow the construction of a 120
unit independent senior apartment community with complementary retail on an
approximately 2.67 acre site, known as Renaissance at Auburn. The subject property is
located at 5029 Auburn Way North.
A closed record hearing is a hearing where comments are limited to the existing record
established by the Hearing Examiner and the Superior Court and where no new evidence or
information is allowed to be submitted.
Any interested person is invited to appear and voice approval or disapproval of the Agreement.
Non-English speaking residents wishing to review documents related to the proposed
development agreement should contact the City of Auburn Department of Planning, Building
and Community at (253)931-3090. Citizens with speech, sight or hearing disabilities wishing to
review documents should contact the City of Auburn within 10 calendar days prior to the
Council meeting, as to the type of service or equipment needed. Each request will be
considered individually according to the type of request, the availability of resources and the
financial ability of the City to provide the requested services or equipment.
