Administrative Recommendation:
City Council approve Final Pay Estimate No. 19 to Contract 06-01 in the amount of $13,162.24, for a total
contract price of $4,186,164.34, with Rodarte Construction Inc. and accept construction of Project No.
C516A, Auburn Way South Sewer-Phase 2.
Background Summary:
Phase 2 of the Auburn Way South Sanitary Sewer Replacement project consisted of replacing the
existing concrete sanitary sewer main with a larger PVC sanitary sewer line from the end of the Phase 1
improvements, a manhole just south of the Forrest Villa mobile home park, northwest along Auburn Way
South to the intersection with Riverwalk Drive, southwest on Rive►walk Drive to the intersection with
Howard Road, then northwest on Howard Road to a manhole just east of the intersection of Howard Road
and 'R' Street.
A project increase of $15,162.24 within the 431.00.590.100.65 (Repair and Replacement) fund/account
will be necessary; however it will not require a budget adjustment since it is anticipated that the budgeted
expenditures in the 431.00.590.100.65 (Repair and Replacement) fund/account will not be exceeded this
year.
