Matrix Item 20P - Animal Control and Rescue Update - Chief Kelly reported the statistics for the past quarter are: 40.5 Calls (down from 47.8) 39.5 Contacts (up from 24.8) 22 Animal impounds (up from 13.8 - this inclucp,4dead animals) 7 Dangerous Dog Ordinance Violations (dq`~fiom 9.4) 13 Warnings (no change) 3 Licenses (no change) 9.5 Wildlife calls (up from 3.8) ~ xnn It was also discussed that King C',~~'ty appears to be aft*pting to push more "basic service" calls to tl~~~hi'mal Control Officer ctedto Auburn. The contract is for "er~#~Onped servaceand to maiexcellent customer service Chief Kelly has appT~ovqd,& nA~0 Harris response to basic animal control calls fortservice.
