A. Call to Order - Chairperson Ken Bradford
B. Review of February 13, 2007 Minutes. Motion by Warren Olson and
second by Ken Bradford Warren Olson to accept February 13, 2007 Minutes.
C. Old Business:
Temporary Employees - We have one new temporary employee and
several interviews in process. We are hopeful to have three temporary
employees hired prior to Memorial Day.
Easter Sunrise Service - Pastor John Olson will officiate again this year.
Gates to be open between 5:30 and 6:00 AM. This year coffee, juice and
donuts will be supplied for attendees.
Website - Our new domain name is mtviewcemeteryaubum.com.
D. New Business:
Paranormal Investigations - An Auburn group contacted us regarding
visiting the cemetery after hours. Permission was not granted.
Stipps Meadows Proposed Sewer Extension - It was decided that placing
a sewer line through the cemetery was not a viable option. Developer to
pursue Al Bain property.
Memorial Day 2007 - Tom Hikida will be enlisting volunteers to assist at
both gates again this year.
E. Reports:
Columbarium update - The project is nearing completion. The cyclone
fence and container have been removed. The interior niches are expected
to arrive in 2-3 weeks. Landscaping of the area will begin shortly.
Budget update - March was a good revenue month. We were able to
reduce the deficit from January 2007 to $1500.00. Property sales were
excellent.
F. Adjournment: The meeting adjourned at 2:55 PM.
Our next meeting will be June 12, 2007 at 2:00.
