A. Call to Order - Chairperson Ken Bradford
B. Review of October 9th, 2007 Minutes. Motion by Fred Helser and second
by Tom Hikida to accept October 9th, 2007 Minutes.
C. Old Business:
Additional Graves in 7th Addition - All of the new graves in the 7th
Addition have been sold.
Development of 10th Addition - The development of the 10th Addition
will be done after the development of the `box office' area. This will
allow us to be more flexible when planning graveside services.
Veterans Day - All was well over the Veterans Day holiday.
Stipps Meadow Development - Sewer Line - There is no news to report.
D. New Business:
Tree of Remembrance - This is the 3rd year that we have had the
Remembrance Tree. We anticipate hearing positive feedback from our
families.
Removal of Two Trees - Two trees were removed in the cemetery due to
one being damaged and one diseased.
Viewpoint Park Vandalism - There were two separate instances since
the last meeting. The Parks Department is thinking of mounting a security
camera in the park to deter vandalism.
Water Shut Off - The water in the cemetery has been turned off and
drained for the season. There was an incident of a freezing sprinkler head
over a weekend. A staff member came in over the weekend to shut off the
water.
Rodent Problems - We are now sealing the privacy panels in the
Columbarium and have placed bait traps to ward off future problems
E. Reports:
Lakehaven Refund - We have received the $33,000.00 refund from
Lakehaven. It has been receipted into an account as directed by the
Finance Department.
Budget Update - Niche sales have exceeded the projected revenue.
November's revenue exceeded October's. We are currently $45,000 over
the projected budget for the year.
F. Adjournment: The meeting adjourned at 3:00 PM.
