A. Call to Order - Fred Helser
B. Review of April 8th, 2008 Minutes. Motion by Warren Olson and second by Tom
Hikida to accept April 8th, 2008 Minutes.
C. Old Business:
7th Addition Development - Memory Heights - Development was put on hold
due to Memorial Day preparations. Staff will continue working on as time
permits.
Facilities will be putting a new roof on the old shop. The building will be better
used for storage of equipment that is not used frequently.
Budget preparations are done. The adjustments will go through City Council and
Finance for approval.
D. New Business:
Staffing - The Maintenance Worker I that was hired has quit. We are in the
process of hiring another worker. There were many applications to choose from.
Memorial Day - There was an excellent turn out over the three day weekend.
All brochures were distributed. Positive feedback was given by visitors.
Land Acquisition - The Howard Fields family has approached the cemetery
about the possibility of purchasing a 5 acre parcel to the west of the cemetery.
This transaction should close in approximately 10 days.
E. Reports:
Budget Update - April 2008 was a good month for revenue. With contract
payments we brought in over $71,000.00.
F. Adjournment: The meeting adjourned at 2:30 PM.
