CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING
MEETING MINUTES OF November 12, 2003
The regularly scheduled meeting of the Civil Service Commission was held November 12,
2003, in Conference Room #2. The members in attendance were as follows:
MEMBERS PRESENT: Dick Kammeyer, Chairman; Chuck Booth, Member; Yvonne
Yaskus, Secretary/Chief Examiner
STAFF PRESENT: Asst Police Chief Bob Lee; Assistant Fire Chief Russ Vandver;
Associate City Attorney Joe Beck
Chairman Kammeyer called the meeting to order at 3:30 p.m.
ACTION:
Approval of Minutes of October 14, 2003 Civil Service meeting
The minutes were accepted as recorded.
COMMISSION
No new business.
FIRE DEPARTMENT
Assistant Fire Chief Vandver informed the Commission that the Fire Department is still
reviewing the proposed changes to job descriptions, and will present them to the Commission
one or two at a time since there are many job descriptions that need to be reviewed.
ACTION:
None taken.
POLICE DEPARTMENT
The Police Entry Level Eligibility List expires on December 10, 2003. The list was discussed,
and determined to be sufficient. There has been no movement of candidates since the list was
established.

ACTION:
Extension of the Police Entry Level Eligibility List for another year, to December 10, 2004.
The motion was made and carried
With no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:37 p.m.
