Meeting Minutes of October 9t", 2007
The regularly scheduled meeting of the Civil Service Commission was held October 9t"
2007, in Resource Room #2 located on the second floor of Auburn City Hall, 25 West
Main Street, Auburn, WA. The following members were in attendance.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Dick Kammeyer, Chairman; Member; Chuck Booth, Member;
Cyril Van Selus, Member.
STAFF PRESENT: Assistant City Attorney, Joseph Beck; Sarah Borden, Civil Service
Examiner; Bob Lee, Deputy Police Chief. .
ACTION:
* Due to distortion of the tape the minutes were not able to be compared to the
recorded meeting.
Chairman Kammeyer called the meeting to order at 3:38 p.m.
Approval of August 14t" & September 11t", 2007 Civil Service meeting minutes.
Minutes were accepted as written.
COMMISSION
Sarah Borden presented the new Entry Level Police Officer Civil Service List which
integrated the results of the previous oral board from August 22"d, 2007 & September
26t", 2007.
Sarah Borden presented the new Lateral Police Officer Civil Service List which
integrated the results of the previous oral board from August 15t", 2007 & September
26t", 2007.
The current Sergeants list (October 26~", 2006) will be extended until replaced.
Bob Lee indicated a possible provisional appointment due to Commander Wood's
resignation on October 19t", 2007 which would be until the list is established in early
2008.
POLICE DEPARTMENT
Sarah Borden reported that we are continuing with the open application process for
entry and lateral police candidates.
ADJOURNMENT:
There being no further business to come before the Commission, the meeting
adjourned at 4:45 p.m.
