CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING
Meeting Minutes of March 11, 2008
The regularly scheduled meeting of the Civil Service Commission was held March 11,
2008, in Resource Room #2 located on the second floor of Auburn City Hall, 25 West
Main Street, Auburn, WA. The following members were in attendance.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Dick Kammeyer, Chairman; Member; Chuck Booth, Member;
Cyril Van Selus, Member.
STAFF PRESENT: Joseph Beck, Assistant City Attorney; Sarah Borden, Civil Service
Examiner; Jim Kelly, Police Chief.
ACTION:
Chairman Kammeyer called the meeting to order at 3:35 p.m.
Approval of the February 12, 2008 Civil Service meeting minutes.
• Minutes were accepted as written. Motion by Van Selus, Booth seconded.
Sarah Borden presented the new Entry Level Police Officer Civil Service List which
integrated the results of the previous oral board from February 27, 2008.
• Entry list was adopted as published. Motion by Booth, Van Selus seconded.
Sarah Borden presented the new Lateral Police Officer Civil Service List which
integrated the results of the previous oral board from February 27, 2008.
• Lateral list adopted as published. Motion by Van Selus, Booth seconded.
POLICE DEPARTMENT
Sarah Borden presented the next written exam test date for entry level police as well as
the next scheduled oral boards.
Sarah Borden presented the number of conditional offers out to entry level police,
lateral police officer, and Parking Control Attendant candidates.
The promotional Commanders exam will be taking place on March 21, 2008.
