MINUTES
1. CALL TO ORDER
Chair Rich Wagner called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. in Conference
Room No. 2 located on the second floor of Auburn City Hall, 25 West
Main Street, Auburn, Washington.
Members in attendance included Chair Rich Wagner, Vice Chair Sue
Singer and Member Gene Cerino. City Clerk Danielle Daskam was also
present.
I1. STANDING COMMITTEES' SCOPE OF DUTIES
Committee members reviewed proposed Resolution No. 4484, which
amends Resolution No. 4429 relating to the standing committees of the
City Council. Resolution No. 4484 proposes modifications to the scope of
authority for the Municipal Services Committee and Planning and
Community Development Committee by moving much of the parks and
recreation programs from the Planning and Community Development
Committee to the Municipal Services Committee. Parks and recreation
programs, museum, senior center and Mary Olson Farm will fall under the
scope of authority for the Municipal Services Committee while park
planning and arts will remain with the Planning and Community
Development Committee.
Deputy Mayor Singer moved and Member Cerino seconded to
recommend approval of Resolution No. 4484.
MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. 3-0.
