HomeMy WebLinkAbout12-21-2004 HEARING EXAMINER MINUTES DECEMBER 21, 2004 The meeting of the Auburn Hearing Examiner was held on December 21,2004 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Auburn City Hall. Those in attendance were as follows: HEARING EXAMINER: Ted Hunter, Driscoll-Hunter STAFF: Steve Pilcher, Development Services Coordinator; Mitzi McMahan, Senior Planner; and Patricia Zook, Department Secretary Mr. Hunter called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. explaining the order of procedures and swore in staff and those in the audience intending on testifying. PUBLIC HEARING: 1. APPLICATION NO. CUP04-0008 The request of James I. Hart on behalf of A One Japanese Auto for a conditional use permit to allow automobile wrecking and salvage activity in the M-2, Heavy Industrial zone. The property is located at 131 - 30th Street N E #8. Hearing Examiner announced that it is now 7:20 p.m. and the applicant is not present. Mr. Driscoll reviewed the agenda packet prior to the meeting. He reviewed the staff recommendation, analysis and the three conditions. He also previously reviewed the exhibits. Hearing Examiner observed that the only people present are City staff and the Examiner. Mr. Driscoll took brief testimony from staff related to notification for the meeting. Mr. Discoll requested that staff contact the applicant and ask Mr. Hart (the applicant) to submit a written request that the conditional use permit application be approved as well as his consent to the conditions. Hearing Examiner will leave the record open until written information is received from the applicant.
