MINUTES
I. CALL TO ORDER
Chair Sue Singer called the special hearing to order at 5:30 p.m. in the
Council Chambers located on the first floor of Auburn City Hall, 25 West
Main Street, Auburn, WA. Committee members present were: Member
Lynn Norman, Member Nancy Backus; Also present were Planning and
Community Development Director Paul Krauss, Community Development
Administrator David Osaki, and Assistant Planning Secretary Carolyn
Brown. Others present are Craig Sears, Kendall Ridge LLC;and Shupe
Holmberg, Baima and Holmberg.
II. PUBLIC HEARING I ACTION
Community Development Administrator David Osaki gave a brief
background on the history of the project which is located between 132nd
Ave SE and State Route 18 to the east. The review process is to insure
consistency with City Standards. Community Development Administrator
Osaki led a brief discussion on City Standards. He also stated that staff
recommends approval.
Chair Singer called for audience comments. No one from the audience
spoke. The public hearing was closed.
Chair Singer asked staff to explain the timing. Community Development
Administrator Osaki answered that the resolution will go to City Council this
evening then to King County by the end of the year.
Member Norman moved and Member Backus seconded to approve
Resolution No. 3799.

ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Planning and
Community Development Committee, the meeting was adjourned at 5:35
p.m.
