EXECUTIVE SESSION - began at 5:30 p.m. Topics of discussion were LID 341 and
Litigation.
I. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. Those in attendance were Mayor Booth,
Committee Chairman Rich Wagner, Council/Committee member Don Kurle and
Council/Committee member Pat Bums. Staff in attendance were Public Works Director
Frank A. Curtie, City Engineer Dennis Dowdy, Finance Director Victor Thompson.
Guest in attendance were Mrs. Ruth Stewart and Roderick Stewart, and John Raeder of
the Chamber of Commerce.
H. ISSUES
A. RESOLUTION NO. 2655, TO RELINQUISH A PORTION OF PUBLIC
WATERLINE EASEMENT AND A PORTION OF PUBLIC SANITARY
SEWER EASEMENT FOR PURPOSES IN EXCESS OF CITY NEEDS
City Engineer Dennis Dowdy presented Resolution No. 2655. Being satisfied with
the response, the Public Works Committee recommended approval to the Council
at the July 3, 1995 meeting.
IH. CONSENT
A. RIGHT-OF-WAY USE PERMIT APPLICATION #13-95 FROM THE
RAINBOW CAFE
The Public Works Committee recommended approval.
B. RIGHT-OF-WAY USE PERMIT APPLICATION # 15-95 FROM THE
PASTIME TAVERN
The Public Works Committee recommended approval.
C. RIGHT-OF-WAY USE PERMIT APPLICATION #12-95 FROM THE MAIN
STREET SANDWICH CO.
The Public Works Committee recommended approval.

AMOUNT OF SIX HUNDRED TWELVE DOLLARS AND FIFTEEN CENTS
($612.15) TO FOREST VILLA CHIROPRACTIC
The Public Works Committee recommended approval to deny.
E. UTILITY BILL ADJUSTMENT TO ACCOUNT #338.0030 IN THE AMOUNT
OF FIVE HUNDRED FOURTEEN DOLLARS AND EIGHTEEN CENTS
($514.18) TO GAINFUL GALS AND ACCOUNT #349.0420 IN THE
AMOUNT OF EIGHT HUNDRED SEVENTY-EIGHT DOLLARS AND
THIRTEEN CENTS ($878.13) TO MING WONG
The Public Works Committee recommended approval.
F. UTILITY BILL ADJUSTMENT TO ACCOUNT #223.1470 IN THE AMOUNT OF TWO HUNDRED FIVE DOLLARS AND THIRTY-ONE CENTS ($205.31)

The Public Works Committee recommended approval.
G. STREET IMPROVEMENT DELAY AGREEMENT FOR NORTHWEST
RACING ASSOCIATES, LTD. ON 29TH STREET N'W CUL-DE-SAC, WEST
OF BURLINGTON NORTHERN RAILROAD CROSSING
City Engineer Dennis Dowdy presented the Street Delay Agreement to the Public
Works Committee. Guests in attendance Mrs. Ruth Stewart and Roderick Stewart
addressed their concerns to the Public Works Committee.
The Public Works Department is to prepare revisions of the original drainage plans
and schedule a meeting with the Stewarts.
Being satisfied, the Public Works Committee approved the Street Delay with the
understanding that Mrs. Stewart's concerns can be addressed int he design review
process.
IV. INFORMATION OR DISCUSSION
A. LID 341, 37TH STREET SE FINAL ASSESSMENTS
Discussed in the Executive Session.
B. DRAFT CODE REVISION FOR RIGHT OF WAY (R.O.W.) PERMITS

City Engineer Dennis Dowdy presented the draR revision. Upon reviewing the
draft, the Public Works Committee requested we prepare the final ordinance and
present it to the City Council for approval at the July 3, 1995 meeting.
C. MID-YEAR BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS FOR UTILITIES AND STREET
FUNDS
City Engineer Dennis Dowdy presented the mid-year budget adjustments. The
Public Works Committee requested copies of all data for additional review.
V. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Public Works Committee, the meeting was
adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
