FIVE YEAR RIGHT-OF-WAY PERMIT APPLICATION 12-96 FROM THE SOLID WASTE DIVISION OF PUBLIC WORKS The Public Works Committee approved CONSENT items A through G. IV. INFORMATION OR DISCUSSION A. COMPREHENSIVE TRANSPORTATION PLAN City Engineer Dennis Dowdy presented slides and a brief overview 0fthe Pavement Management System. A general discussion was held, concerns were expressed regarding status of the streets and possible funding sources. B. 'T' STREET NE POSSIBLE LID FORMATION City Engineer Dennis Dowdy presented a general overview and maps of a possible LID formation. A discussion was held regarding adequate staffing to do a preliminary study. The Public Works Committee will again review after a 'staffing workload report has been presented at the scheduled May 20, 1996 Workshop. PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE MINUTES MAY 13, 1996 . PAGE 3 OF 3 C. GIS FEE SCHEDULE City Engineer Dennis Dowdy gave a brief overview of a possible fee schedule; the data is now being reviewed by the City's Legal Department; the Public Works Committee stated their interest and requested the Legal Department continue their review. D. IA #1 STATUS REPORT Utilities Engineer Dwight Holobaugh distributed data and gave a very brief explanation that the project is well ahead of schedule and within budget. E. REM/NDEK FOK MAY 14, 1996 LEGISLATIVE TRANSPOKTATION COMMITTEE FORUM City Engineer Dennis Dowdy gave a brief reminder of the meeting to be held May 14, 1996; urged staff and Council members to attend. Council/Committee Chairman Rich Wagner requested the following changes of schedule to the Public Works Committee and Workshops.
