A.C. KINDIG & COMPANY, AG-C-163 WITH CEDAROCK CONSULTANTS, AND
AG-C-166 WITH PACIFIC GROUNDWATER GROUP FOR WORK REQUIRED TO
COMPLETE THE FINAL PHASE OF THE WATER RIGHTS DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
The scope of work incorporated in the consultant agreements during 2001 was
based on the assumption that the requested additional primary water rights for wells
6 and 7 may impact the White and Green Rivers. As work was completed, the
analysis found that an effect on Mill Creek was possible, requiring additional data
and analysis to be included in the water rights application project which has a
deadline of June 2002 for submittal of the work product.
Attorney Mortimer projected that the analysis and water rights development project
will indicate the City can fully avoid or mitigate the effects on the White and Green
Rivers and Mill Creek and will not require major capital mitigation projects.
It was moved by Councilmember Poe, seconded by Councilmember Cerino, that the
Committee recommend Council approve consultant agreement Nos. AG-C-173 with
Roth Hill Engineering, AG-C-164 with Northwest Hydraulic Consultants, AG-C-165
with A.C. Kindig & Company, AG-C-163 with Cedareck Consultants, and AG-C-166

The Committee requested additional information from staff regarding revenue
