Minutes of a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Auburn, held
at 4 p. m. Apri I 29, 1964, in the office of the Mayor. The meeting was cal led for
the specific purpose of acting on the resignation of James T. Skrivan as city treasurer
and the appointment of a new city treasurer.
Counci Imen present: George Aaby, Ted Lea, Ken Fitzsimmons and Charles Hough.
The meet!n~was called to order by Mayor Gaines.
It was moved by Aaby, seconded by Fitzsimmons, that the City accept the
resignation submitted by James T. Skrivan.

MOTION CARRIED
Mayor Gaines announced he had appointed John Kelly as City Treasurer effective
as of May I, 1964.
City Attorney Smythe administered the oath of office to Mr. Kelly and declared
him officially installed as City Treasurer.
The meeting was adjourned at 4:25 p. m.
