MOTION CARRIED PUBLIC HEARINGS Mayor Kersey declared Public Hearing open on request of Bonanza Investment Company for an amendment to Section 2.A. (4) of City Ordinance No. 2534 pertaining to the removal of the existing stockp.i1. :!s of material from the old processing si te wi thin one year from the effective date of the ordinance. PLANNING, BEAUTIFICATION & BUTLDING CODES COMMITTEE - CHAIRMAN DARLING The Committee reviewed the letter and resolution actions requested by the International Conference of Building Officials (ICBO) concerning adoption of" nationally recognized building standarc1s. 'l'he Staff is to consul t wi th the Association of rlashington Ci ties (ArIC) concerning their posi tion on the ICBO requests. The Commi ttee reviewed . recommendations from the Mechanical Contractors Association that the City of Auburn adopt the 1970 Uniform Plumbing Code and the 1970 Uniform !1echanical Code. The employee parking lot is under study by the Committee. The Committee acted unanimously that no further consideration should be given to the adoption of a resolution authorizing a leased housing agreement between the City of Aubu.rn and the Housing Authority. Regarding Les Gove Park áccess and the¡:p$;k1Ji1it.ië for a property exchange, the Comrni ttee directed the Staff to furnish the c.i ty Attorney ¡-ri th the necessary material to prepare an ordinance authorizing the exchange of these properties which the Committee recognizes to be of equal value. The Committee discussec1 temporary concession rights on public property for dif"ferent summer functions. The Committee requests the Council to authorize these temporary concession rights.
