A special meeting of the Auburn City Council convened at 8:00 p.m., in the Auburn City Council
Chambers.
ROLL CALL
COUNCILMEN PRESENT:
Councilmen Roegner, Kitchell, Craig, Larson, Anderson, and Lea.
Councilman Flechsig, excused.
i.it was moved by Roegner, seconded by Kitchell, that Resolution No. 768 entitled "A RESOLUTION
"tJF THE CITY OF COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE 'MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON ,TO ACCEPT AN OFFER OF GRANT FROM. T~~ UNITED STATES
C!tEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,850,0-0 to PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSJ:'S'I'ANCE FOR THE
CIWMOLITION OF THE EXISTING CITY HALL AND THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW CITY HALL AND POLICE
STATION FOR THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON", be adopted.
ROLL CALL VOTE:
ALL councilmen voting YES.
MOTION CARRIED
It was moved by Roegner, seconded by Kitchell, that the Mayor and City Clet!kJae authorized
I sign a contract with S. treeter/Dermanis and Associa. tes for the design and construction
spection of the new city hall and police station for the City of Auburn, subject to the
proval of form by the Municipal Building Committee and EDA.
ROLL CALL VOTE:
All councilmen voting YES.
MOTION.CAARIED
It was moved by Roegner, seconded by Kitchell, that George Schuler be appointed the Local
Public Works Project Coordinator to serve as EDA's contact for matters pertaining to EDA's
data collection requirements. '
ROLL CALL VOTE:
All councilmen voting YES.
MOTION CARRIED
There being no further business to come before thecouncil, the meeting was adjourned at
8:10 p.m.
