Home My WebLink About3056 1 _ • ` ORDINANCE N0. 3 0 5 6 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF A PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF 21ST STREET SOUTH- EAST TN THE 800 BLOCK, SITUATE WITHIN THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHING- TON, CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION THEREOF FROM R-2 TO A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT. WHEREAS, a petition dated January 5, 1976, together with plot plans ~ and exterior elevations therefor has been submitted to the Council of the City of ~ ~ Auburn, by FRED W. POE and EUGENE I. CINKOVICH, requesting a Conditional Use Permit ~ which would allow for the construction of seven (7) one story apartment units on a ~ ~ parcel of land 1ocated on the south side of 21st Street Southeast in the 800 block, which property hereinafter described in Section 1 of this Ordinance and which property presently 'carries an R-2 (Single Family) classification; and WHEREAS, said request above referred to was referred by the City Council to the City Planning Commission for study and public hearing thereon; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing to consider the request in the City Hall of the City of Auburn, at 7:30 P.M. on February 3, 1976, and subsequent thereto the City Planning Commission approved the issuance of the Conditional Use Permit, finding that the proposed use illustrated by the site devleopment plans of the petitioner would not be unduly detrimental to the adjacent and surrounding properties and the enjoyment thereof; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Auburn held a public hearing to consider said petition in the City Hall of the City of Auburn at 8:00 P.M. on March 1, 1976, at the conclusion of which the City Council concurred with the recommendations of the Planning Commission as hereinabove stated; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That a Conditional Use Permit be granted for the purpose of constructing seven (7) one story apartment units on the following described property, t0-Wlt: The South 315' of the North 345' of the West 132' of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 19, Town- ship 21, Range 5. Situate in the City of Auburn, County of King, State of Washington. That the plot plans and exgerior elevations be attached to ~ and become a part of the permit. cv Section 3. That the City Clerk of the City of Auburn is hereby authorized m CD and directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the King County Auditor's ~ Office. Section 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
