~ AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF;•,
CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON A PARCEL OF LAND ON THE WEST SIDE
~ OF "J" STREET NORTHEAST BETWEEN 4TH AND 5TH STREETS NORTHEAST,
WI7HIN THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, CHANGING THE ZONING
CLASSIFICATION THEREOF FROM R-2 TO R-4.

~ WHEREAS, a petition has been submitted to the Council of the City of

t~ Auburn, Washington, by DAVID A. BOTTING, requesting the rezoning of the real
~
t2 property hereinafter described in Section 1 of this Ordinance, which petition
o ~
was dated February 24, 1976; and
. ~
WHEREAS, said request above referred to, was referred to the Planning
~
,
~
Commission by the Auburn City Council for study and public hearing thereon; and
WHEREAS, the Planhing Commission held a public hearing to consider said
petition in the City Hall of the City of Auburn, at 8:00 P.M. on April 6, 1976,
at the conclusion of which the Comnission recommended the approval of the re-
zoning of the said property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Auburn held a public hearing
in the City Hall of the City of Auburn at 8:00 P.M. on May 3, 1976, at which
time the City Council concurred with the recommendations of the Planning Commission
as hereinabove stated;
NOW, TNEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following described property located on a parcel of
land on the west side of "J" Street Northeast between 4th and 5th Streets Northeast,
situate in the City of Auburn, County of King, State of Washington, be and the same
is hereby rezoned from R-2 (Single Family) to R-4 (Multi-Family), to-wit:
Lots 4, 5 and 6, Block 6, Poplarwood Addition as recorded
in Volume 32 of Plats, page 5, records of King County,
Washington, situated in Section 18, Township 21 North,
Range 5, EWM, City of Auburn, County of King, State of
Washington. Together with vacated portion of adjacent
street.

• Section 2. That the amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Mall of the
City of Auburn encompassing this zoning use classification change, which amendment
is designated as Exhibit "A""hereof, be and the same is hereby approved.
co Section 3. That the City Clerk of the City of Auburn, is hereby authorized

and directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the King County

~ Auditor's Office.
Section 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)

days from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
