AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, PROVIDING FOR THE REZONIM_,OF
CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON A PARCEL OF LAND APPROXIMATELY 31
ACRES IN SIZE LYING BETWEEN THE WEST VALLEY HIGHWAY AND THE
VALLEY FREEWAY SOUTH OF 29TH STREET NORTHWEST, WITHIN THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION
THEREOF FROM UNCLASSIFIED TO M-1.
WHEREAS, a petition has been submitted to the Council of the City of
" Auburn, Washington, by ALFRED M. BAREM, requesting the rezoning of the real

~ property hereinafter described in Section 1 of this Ordinance, which petition V~
was dated August 15, 1975; and

WHEREAS, said request above referred to, was referred to the Planning

Commission by the Auburn City Council for study and public hearing thereon;and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing to consider said
petition in the City Hall of the City of Auburn, at 8:00 P.M. on September 23,
1975, at the conclusion of which the Commission recommended the approval of the
rezoning of the said property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Auburn held a public hearing
in the City Hall of the City of Auburn at 8:00 P.M. on May 3, 1976, at which
time the City Council concurred with the recommendations of the Planning Commission
as hereinabove stated;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following described property located on the Southeast
corner of the West Valley Highway and 29th Street Northwest, approximately 31
acres in size, situate in the City of Auburn, County of King, State of Washington,
be and the same is hereby rezoned from Unclassified to M-1 (Light Industrial),
to-wit:
SW Sec. 1, TWP 21 N, Range 4, EWM Blk 9012, Code 1663,
N 1/4 Except N 20 ft and N 1/2 of S 1/2 of SW 1/4 of
S 1/4 less S. L. #69. Subject easement to Bonneville,
Blk 9028, Code 1663, Sec 1, Twp 21 N, R 4 W.M., S 1/4
and S 1/2 of N 1/2 of SW 1/4 of SW 1/4 less S.T. Road.

Section 2. That the amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map pf the
City of Auburn encompassing this zoning use classification change, which amendment
is designated as W.bit "A":hereof, be and the same is hereby approved.
Section 3. That the City Clerk of the City of Auburn, is hereby authorized

~ Section 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)

days from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
