AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, RELATING TO AND PROVIOING
FOR THE VACATION OF STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY, SITUATE ON REDDINGTON ROAD,
AND SITUATEO WITHIN THE CORPORATE lIMITS OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Auburn, Washington, have passed
and adopted Resolution No. 815, resolving that a public hearing shall be had for
the purpose of determining whether or not the hereinafter described street right-
of-way located on Reddington Road, within the corporate limits of the City of
Auburn, shall be vacated, said portion to be vacated being hereinafter legally
described in Section 1 of this Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, notice of public hearing to vacate the portion of a certain street
right-of-way located on Reddington Road lying within the corporate limits of the
City of Auburn, in the time and manner provided by law, giving notice that the
hearing on said Resolution No. 815 was held on the 6th day of September, 1977,
and continued to September 19, 1977, at 8:00 P.M. in the temporary Council Chambers
at the Auburn School District Administration Building, in the City of Auburn,
Washington, no objections thereto were filed with the City Clerk or presented
to the City Council at said hearings; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, having deemed that the petition for vacation was
proper and that no vested rights would be affected by the same;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOllOWS:
Section 1. That the following described portion of a certain street right-
of-way located on Reddington Road lying in Section 6, Township 21 N, Range 5
E.W.M. as conveyed to King County for road purposes under Auditor's File Number
2776022 and 2776023, within the corporate limits of the City of Auburn, Washington,
and more particularly described as follows:
Government lots 8, 14 and 15, and the south 218 feet of
George E. King Donation Claim #40, situated in Section
6 Township 21 N, Range 5, E.W.M.; in the City of Auburn,
County of King, State of Washington, EXCEPT the south
200 feet of the West 250 feet of Government lot 15.

be and the same is hereby vacated, and the property lying in said portion of
a certain street right-of-way described hereinabove, shall be returned and belong
to the abutting property owners, of said portion of a certain street right-of-way
located on Reddington Road, lying within the corporate limits of the City of
Auburn.

Section 2. Upon the passage, approval and publication of this Ordinance,
the City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this Ordinance to be recorded in

the office of the King County Auditor.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)
